Here's one of my favorite Bible quotes that encourages me when I get off track from pursuing my dreams. Jeremiah 29:11 — "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

    When I believe in a relationship, a plan or a task, I give myself wholeheartedly to it. When I am God-centered, however, I do my best. I bring love and compassion to every interaction and inspiration to every activity. Every human being needs deep relationships that are hallmarked by love, faith and trust. My faith in God brings heart-felt joy, peace and comfort to my daily living.

    My automobile accident taught me that the dark nights of the soul can reveal the true purpose of suffering — that out of our pain we can rise, grow, conquer and achieve new and even better things. Life is truly a miracle. As Albert Einstein beautifully wrote: "There are only two ways to live: One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle."

Being vibrantly healthy and serene implies a harmonious balance of one’s physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self and championing high self-esteem. A great place to start is with your attitude. As my wise and loving grandmother always used to say to me... "Your attitude is your mind's paintbrush; it can color anything."
